This is typical of a lot of businesses and their 'customer'. I own and operate a small business and I get this all the time. I am in the swimming pool industry and I can't tell you how many times a customer has called me to make a repair, which I quickly find to be an easy fix. And the customer says, "Thaaanks" as if there is no charge for me driving out there and using my years of experience to quickly and efficiently diagnose the problem. It's as if since it was so easy for me to do, there is no value in what I've done.
